The thought of you leaving me
Has tears springing to my eyes.
The thought of you deserting me
Has tears streaming down my cheeks.
The thought of you with her
Has my fists balled by my side.
The thought of you alone
Has my heart aching for you.
The thought of you in general
Has my heart dancing for joy.
For the simple thought of you
Is the reason why I smile.
The thought of you waiting for me
Is the reason why I cheer.
The thought of you smiling
Has me returning the smile to you.
The thought of you holding me in your arms
Has me running towards you.
The thought of you in my dreams
Causes the nightmares to leave.
The thought of you in general
Is all I need.
For I am my most happiest
When you occupy my mind.
And for this reason alone
I can see tomorrow.
Bright as day, dark as night
