When The Night Is Young (And The Moon Is Full)

Staring up at the moon
Thoughts racing through my mind

It's tearing me apart
This wolf deep inside
The moon is full
It calls my name
The bite on my arm itches
And nothing will be the same
An arch of my back
A howl rips from my lips
The fur sprouts upon my body
And I know that this is it

Say a little prayer
Beg for your life
Tonight is going to get bloody
Beneath the pale moonlight

When the night is young
And the moon is full
Nothing is as it seems
The visions from your nightmares
Wake you with a scream
When the night is young

And the moon is full
You soon realize
That what you thought were just dreams
Is now standing before your eyes

Lurking in the shadows
Hidden from sight
Is a ghastly scene

That echoes the darkness of night
In the distance
Through the trees

I can see you walking
Completely at ease
Drool drips from my lips
I snarl a warning

And for the first moment of your life
You wished it was morning

Say a little prayer
Beg for your life
Tonight is going to get bloody
Beneath the pale moonlight

When the night is young
And the moon is full
Danger lurks around every bend
That's the moment when
You know your life is about to end
When the night is young
And the moon is full
You come to realize
All those stories about werewolves
Were not just little lies

Crashing through the trees
You see me and freeze
Keep repeating
Nothing is as it seems
My teeth are bared
I can tell that you're scared
Keep repeating
Do not despair

Say a little prayer
Beg for your life
Tonight is going to get bloody
Beneath the pale moonlight

When the night is young
And the moon is full
Nothing is as it seems
The visions from your nightmares
Wake you with a scream
When the night is young

And the moon is full
You soon realize
That what you thought were just dreams
Is now standing before your eyes
